Soft-paste porcelain containing bone ash, press-moulded, and painted overglaze in polychrome enamels, height, whole, 15.6 cm, depth, base, 7.0 cm, front to back, circa 1756-1760. Rococo. Production Note: This cook was copied from a Meissen model by Peter Reinicke after one of a series of coloured drawings of the 'Cries of Paris' commissioned by J.J. Kaendler from the French artist, Christophe Huet (1700-59), and executed in 1753.
