Japanese pottery. Bowl. Unknown pottery, Japan, Satsuma. Elegant footed globular bowl with deep in curving sides and an everted rim. Creamy crackled grey glaze. Circular motif on shoulder. Reddish brown body. Repaired with gold at the lip in two places. Stoneware, thrown and turned, glazed except foot, height 9.80 cm, diameter, bowl, 12.50 cm, diameter, foot, 6.00 cm, circa 1700-circa 1799. Edo Period (1615-1868).
