Black, red and white chalk with stump, some lines incised with a stylus, on paper, attached to mount sheet, height 225 mm, width 190 mm, 1780. Notes: by L.C.G. Clarke, "apparently the Mrs Nation who made a considerable fortune in High Street Exeter as a retailer of snuff and tobacco. The business is still in existence". 2nd Series, Vol, IV, No. 23.
