Engraved gems. Magical amulet. Obverse: a bust of Helios, full-face, with a crown of seven rays set upon curly, loosely cropped hair. Above and to the left of the head hang two stars. The neck and shoulders are very roughly worked and are possibly meant to represent a rocky mountain. in the field are various letters and signs. Reverse: crescent and three stars. Intaglio cutting, bloodstone, 23 mm x 18 mm, circa 200-circa 400 AD. Roman Imperial.
