Pendant Book. Jewellery/Pendant. Silver-gilt, with leaves made of silver and engraved with scenes from the Passion. Perhaps for attaching to a rosary, with pendant amethyst. Scenes: Annunciation, Nativity, Last Supper, Agony in the Garden, Kiss of Judas, Christ before Pilate, Scourying of Christ, The Mocking of Christ, Christ Carrying the Cross, the Erection of the Cross, Christ being Nailed to the Cross, the Crucifixion Deposition, Entombment, Resurrection, Christ Child Enthroned, a Pope and a female Saint. Silver-gilt, height, whole, 6.0 cm, width, whole, 2.8 cm, circa 1500- circa 1700. German.
