English gold mourning ring with an urn on a pedestal

An image of Jewellery/Mourning ring. Gold hoop, expanding at shoulders. Circular bezel. Round the edge, reserved in white enamel, bordered at both edges with a narrow band of black enamel, is in the inscription: CATHERINE. HARRIS. BORN 22. 8C. DIED. 29. AP: 1793. At the centre, under glass, on a background of hair, an urn on a pedestal, inscribed 'SACRED TO AFFECTION'. Urn composed of gilt-metal, black and white enamel. Gold, hair, enamel and gilt-metal, height, hoop, 2.0, mm, depth, hoop, 1.25, mm, length, hoop, 21.0, mm; height, bezel (circular) 5.0 mm, length, bezel (circular) 20.0, mm, width, bezel (circular) 20.0 mm, 1793. English.
