    <value>Buff earthenware, press-moulded over a hump mould to produce a design in low relief on the interior, and scalloped round the edge with a tool or knife, coated inside with cream slip, and slip-trailed in brown and dark brown under yellowish lead-glaze. The reverse is undecorated. The inside is decorated with a two handled skirted pot or vase filled with stylized sprays of flowers and leaves, with four birds, perhaps peacocks in the spaces above, and below, two S scrolls and the initials' I S' . The rim is encircled by a row of dark brown spots.</value>
