The reverse is undecorated. The inside is decorated with a two handled skirted pot or vase filled with stylized sprays of flowers and leaves, with four birds, perhaps peacocks in the spaces above, and below, two S scrolls and the initials' I S' . The rim is encircled by a row of dark brown spots.
