The reverse is undecorated. Circular with a wide sloping rim, and a well with curved sides and a flat central area. The well is occupied by a lady with a tiny waist, holding up a stem of flowers in each hand. She wears a low-necked bodice with puff sleeves, and a bell-shaped skirt with a striped apron. On each side of her there is leaf (or butterfly) and a bust of a bewigged and crowned man, probably Charles II. the rim is decorated with a trellis border, broken at the bottom by a panel slip-trailed in dark brown with the name and date 'RALPH:TOFT 1677'.
