Beaker. Unknown maker, China. Burnished black pottery beaker with large open worked handles in the form of bird headed dragons. The body is decorated with wheel made rings and two bands, of zigzag patters, in black slip on a grey ground, at the neck and base. Fine grey biscuit. Earthenware, slip coated, height 15.5 cm, width 27 cm. Period of the Warring States (481-221 BC).
