The bowl has deep curved sides with two horizontal rectangular handles on opposing sides, and stands on a circular spreading foot. The domed cover has a narrow border, and on top has six applied straps forming arches which support the hemispherical knob which is moulded with leaves and a raspberry prunt. The sides of the bowl are decorated with yellow and cream beaded swags suspended from a horizontal beaded band below the rim. The edges of the handles are yellow. The cover has a band of beading around the inner edge of its border, and the applied straps and the leaves on the knob are painted alternately in green and yellow.
