    <value>Pale buff earthenware, tin-glazed on the front and painted in blue, yellow, and manganese-purple; the reverse lead-glazed. Circular with a sloping rim, and curved well, standing on a footring. In the middle are two yellow stars over a fleur-de-lys, flanked by a purple broken wheel and a sword with a yellow hilt reserved in a blue medallion, surrounded by sprays of foliage. On the rim is a continuous spray of foliage and berries between pairs of blue concentric circles. There are three spur marks near the middle.</value>
