The bottle stands on a circular base with a very slightly concave pontil mark in the centre. It has a globular body, contracting into a tall, slender neck with an irregular surface on the rim. Inside it has a 'screw' to take a metal sprinkler. Half-way down the neck there is an engraved wreath of paired leaves with remnants of gilding. On the body there are three engraved and gilt stylised roses flanked by leaves. The Queen, Isabel Farnese, was impressed by the window and mirror glass made there and built a glasshouse for him on the royal estate.
