Circular with wide sloping rim moulded with spiral gadroons, and deep curved well with a central boss. the rim has been pierced by two suspension holes at the top of the rim. On the boss there is a coat-of-arms, surrounded by a band of 'beaded net', and in the well by bands of loops and scrolling flowers and foliage. Round the shoulder there is a narrow band of reserved 'wheels'. the gadroons on the rim are decorated with three patterns: 'beaded net', reserved 'wheels' and a flower on a leafy stalk. On the reverse, a central rosette is surrounded by two bands of fern foliage on coiling stems.
