King's head, sculptors model. Production Place/Find Spot: Egypt. Carved limestone, circa 332 to circa 30 B.C. Ptolemaic Period. Production Note: Rulers of Dynasty 30 and the Ptolemaic period used this 'portrait type'. The continuation was probably a deliberate attempt to associate the new Greek rulers with the last Egyptian dynasty.
