Underglaze painting of a cat in brown-black, chasing a ball of blue wool which unravels around it. Band of pale brown around the rim. Underside concave withing foot-rim. Earthenware, moulded, painted underglaze. Diameter 17.3 cm, height 3.8 cm. Circa 1934-1938. Given by Timothy Barker, son of Susie Cooper and Cecil Barker.
