The cup has deep curved sides, and a loop handle, and stands on a triangular footring. The sides are decorated in relief with three circular beaded frames separated by tapering lattice panels flanked by flowers and foliage. The frames contain painted Chinese landscapes. Below the rim there is a 'key and cell' border, and round the footring, a horrizontal band. The back of the handle is decorated with a double scroll.
