Cylinder Seal. Squat black cylinder seal with deeply cut, long-necked quadrupeds. Some string wear on the perforation showing that this seal was worn as a bead for a long period of time. Basalt, height 0.016 m, width 0.015 m, circa 3100-2900 B.C. Uruk Period (4100-2900 BCE). Ancient Mesopotamia.
