Painted on each side with an arrangement of flowers and foliage including roses, and inscribed on the front in brown 'A. PRESENT/FOR TOBY/-1823-', with a floral spray above and below. The neck is decorated with a continuous floral spray with brown bands above and below. There is a brown band round the footring and a stylised spray of foliage down the back of the handle.
