    <value>Drab-coloured stoneware, thrown, coated with white pipe clay slip inside, and decorated outside with applied moulded reliefs (or sprigs) before salt-glazing. The bowl stands on a low foot, and has curved sides and a very slightly everted lip with a thin border. On the outside there is a continuous wavy horizontal white vine stem with leaves and grapes in relief.</value>
