Spring stands in the centre, with her left leg extended behind her, She has long brown hair entwined by a green ribbon, and wears an off-the shoulders pink dress with a puce-pink and gold floral pattern and a puce-pink lining and falling collar with a gold edge. There is a pocket slit on her right hip beside which are four green ribbons. She has a wreath of polychrome flowers over her left arm, and lifts up her skirt with her right hand to reveal a putto representing Winter who is sitting warming his hands over a small brown brasier with red and yellow flames. Another representing Autumn is astride a pale grey barrel behind her, and a third representing Summer reclines on a sheaf of corn in front of her with his feet over the viewer’s right edge of the base.
