    <value>White stoneware, slip-cast with decoration in relief, the handle applied, and salt-glazed. Circular with deep sides, standing on a footring; reeded loop handle pinched at the lower end to form an upward 'kick'. The exterior is decorated with eight vertical panels containing: a huntsman with a hound and a bird amidst foliage; a shield above a stag with a bird below; a crown over an imperial eagle with an arabesque below; a kettle on a hearth below a tea party scene with a large tea pot on the table with a swag above; a shield charged with three animals, a nude man or putto carrying a globe and two small figures on either side of a table or box; two figures holding a heart, a monster,  with a above, a bearded man's head in profile to right in a medallion; the fable of the Fox and the Stork, Cupid on a lion, and a swiming swan or duck; Danae (a nude woman) amongst clouds,  a unicorn, and a plant in a pot. Below the rim there is a narrow plain border.</value>
