  </description>
  <description>
    <value>Cream earthenware, press-moulded, and painted in blue, olive-green, yellow, orange, and dark brown under lead-glaze. The underside is open and glazed internally. The cat lies on a rectangular cushion with a convex yellow top and a sloping green gathered side. Its front paws are just visible, and its tail is curled around its hind quarters. It has dark brown eyes and eyebrows, and spots inside its ears, the tips of which are missing. The cream body is decorated with randomly-placed short blue, green and orange brush strokes, and on the tail with black spots.</value>
