The circular saucer has curved sides, and a footring.The cup is decorated on the sides with two small bunches of roses and other flowers, and on the front, with two exotic birds, a large one standing on the ground and the other, much smaller, perched in a tree. There is a dentilated gold band round the rim, a plain gold band round the foot, a gold line down both sides of the handle, and dots alternating with four formal leaves down its back. The saucer is painted with two floral sprays and an exotic bird standing on the ground and one perched in a tree, and has a dentilated gold band round the rim.
