The body is incised with a large lotus flower on either side and a border of lotus petals at the base, while the shoulder and neck feature cloud motifs spaciously arranged. The glaze is of pale blue-green colour, clear and glossy, and somewhat discoloured at the top of the neck. The footring has been wiped free of glaze and shows traces of fire-clay spurs. Stoneware, thrown, with parts attached, incised and celadon-glazed. Height, whole, 29.5 cm, diameter, rim, 8.7 cm, diameter, foot, 9.7 cm, circa 1100-1200. Koryo Dynasty.
