Plate. New Hall Porcelain Factory, Staffordshire. Hybrid hard-paste porcelain plate, from a teaset. Decorated overglaze with a wide band of pink enamel between narrow gold bands and with scattered floral sprigs in gold. Pattern no. 223. Height 3.1 cm, diameter 20.1 cm, 1785. See C.11A-L-1988: A service comprising a teapot and cover of 'silver' shape, a milk jug, sugar basin and cover, a slop basin, two plates of different sizes, two tea bowls, two coffee cups and two saucers.
