The reverse is unglazed. Circular with a broad slightly sloping rim, curved sides, and flat central area. A suspension hole has been bored in the rim close to the edge at the top. The well is decorated with the head of Charles II in the Boscobel Oak flanked by a lion rampant and a unicorn. The rim is decorated with a trellis border broken at the bottom by a panel containing the name 'WILLIAM .TALOR' trailed in dark brown, with a row of dark ochre crosses below it.
