Barrett Browning writes of their initial plans to meet Jameson at Florence or Bologna and travel with her however 'everything was changed' following her illness. She goes on to discuss their choice of place to live in Italy as well as their altered travel plans. \n\nAccording to the Brownings' Correspondence project: 'EBB did not finish this letter, and it was never sent. Apparently, the Brownings heard from Mrs. Jameson, making this letter unnecessary.' This letter has been transcribed online by the Brownings' Correspondence project, numbered 2667.
