[nb: the lines in this letter are different from those on the memorial in St Margaret's church in Eartham). “The good Blake is taking great Pains to render all the Justice in his Power to Romney’s exquisite Portrait of Him, & I hope the two next prints will atone for all the defects of the engraved Medallion" (which appeared in Hayley's Essay on Sculpture) Details of a large Blake copy of “the Miltonic design” by Romney that “you remember on the Boards of Demogorgons Hall, as we used to call his ?private? Apartment (hole in letter). Sends Blake’s “kind Remembrance” to John Flaxman and his wife Ann (Nancy).
