Bunce also explains how clay should be treated when used in waterworks. \"Clay has some years been a good deal disused in water works from a supposition that it dissolved with the water but it is now pretty generally believed that the worms do the mischief.\" To prevent this, he advises mixing the clay with \"pounded lime to prevent the worms eating holes in it. this is a late discovery.\"\n\nHe mentions that Tom Hayley has called on him.\n\nThe drawings comprise:\n1. Section of the tank from North to South\n2.
