Bunce writes with instructions (including 2 small sketches) for the bricklayer to build the catacombs in the cellar, and says he does not think it will be possible to form another bedchamber for a servant in the work house. He suggests that, as the cellars are so extensive it may be better to create a bedroom there, but suggests Hayley waits until Bunce is able to visit to make a final decision.

He recommends having "a chimney & flue carried up the wall in the room at the stable", and asks Hayley if he determines "to finish the wine vault imediately" to write so that Bunce can "instantly send you the drawings".

He praises Hayley's lines on "Marine Retirement" in a postscript.</value>
