She reports that she told Johnson that her plates \"could easily be restored after 15 hundred impressions\". Johnson told her that \"the Quarto and Octavo editions ought to be published together\" and asked her to supply \"three plates if possible in two months\", which, she writes, she will do her best to deliver.\n\nShe also called on Spilsbury and Flaxman (the latter was not home). She also writes \"I am not to send Miss Fanshawe's box before I hear from you for the reasons which I make no doubt Miss Poole has communicated to you. There must not be more than three in this secret.\" [Miss Fanshawe is almost certainly Catherine Maria Fanshawe, as there is a C owper connection]\n\nIn a postscript, Watson writes \"As you are so kind to interest yourself in all that concerns me, I take the liberty to acquaint you that mydistressed friend, as I learnt this day from Mrs. ___ is very happily situated, with a good salary, very kindly treated, & the utmost confidence reposed in him. I am to sign the bond in a day or two.
