She writes that she quoted Johnson 20 guineas for engraving Judith [Judith or Cowper's Oak, which was to be the frontispiece of the Supplementary Pages to the Life of Cowper (1806)], but will take less if Hayley thinks it too much. Watson is happy that Hayley thinks the engraving of Cowper has been improved by her attention to Flaxman's comments and hopes Hayley does not think her "so weak; as to take offence at being desired to conult the opinion of a man of his sense and great knowledge". She writes that her aunt has been very ill, but seems to be recovering and has been well cared for by Dr Powell of Essex Street. In a postscript she sends thanks to Harriet Poole "for her kindness" and asks to be remembered to Peggy.
