<value>Keith Grant headed paper, hand-written on both sides of 2 pages of A4. Response to communication from Tim Rogers sending 69th birthday greetings to Grant, who expresses 'delight that we are in contact again'. Remarks related to TR's previous letter; comments about Eva's hip replacement and concern to hear of TR's minor stroke. Gives agreement that TR should give his letters to the Fitzwilliam Museum and expresses his admiration for the museum's 'independence and integrity' which he considers results 'in no small way from David Scrase's sensitivity, scholarship and passion for the immeasureable values in Art'. Suggests a trip to visit them in Norway, gives details of how the Rogers could travel and assures them of accommodation and warm hospitality. Details work to date on the stained-glass project for the Charing Cross Hospital, due to be unveiled in Dec; practical work on his home; news of an exhibition to celebrate the 750th anniversary of King Olav's Church near Hangesund, in which Grant has been invited to participate; domestic news that he is 'unbelievably happy with Hilde' and that they hope to marry soon, that he now has civilised and friendly relations with Gisele but financially the separation has cost him dear. He urges Tim to visit to become acquainted with Thea. News also of a large painting to be displayed at the Cadogan Contemporary in Dec and that there has been a recent 'luminosity, almost a numinous quality' about his work which he cannot explain, working with spatial awareness, which he hopes TR will be able to register in 2D as his spacial awareness has been affected by his stroke. Adds the comment from a friend that his recent work is 'religious'. Domestic news about Hilde's work as a music teacher and Grant's cooking abilities. Also news that he had a spell in hospital some months before but his symptoms are now cleared.</value>
