Beckett on 3rd April 1954, resident of '7, Farncombe Road, Worthing' (engraved on top right of the leaf). It was addressed to the Fitzwilliam Museum's former Librarian, L.A. Holder, who acknowledged it on 6th April 1954 (as inferred from the 'Thanks / 6 APR. 1954 / LAH' stamp/inscription). Beckett sent an additional page to be added after page 186 of the typescript 'Constable & Lucas'. He also included some notes to be added to the letters. The notes were presumably added by another former staff member, P.M. Giles, who has left a comment in pink ink: 'Added / PMG'. The leaf has been numbered ‘3’ by the compiler of the booklet.
