It comprised of twenty-two mezzotints, and was issued between June 1830 and July 1832. A second edition was also prepared alongside letterpress text. There is a pencil inscription on the top right, perhaps left by E.E. Leggatt (he has left remarks on other material as well). It reads: ''Original Pink Wrapper for the India proofs Selling at 10 - the set'' In his explanatory notes (Constable/EL/6/1), R.B. Beckett describes this as: ''3-5. Wrappers for separate numbers (there should be one in blue for ordinary proofs.'' This leaf has been a part of a large brown binding (Constable/EL/2/MS36-1953/35). The sheet has been labelled 'v'.
