Dear Lucas
I returned on Monday Evg from Brighton I expected you at 10 on Tuesday morning & waited for you all day - I expected you yesterday - & your not coming at all gives me reason to hope you have some better plans.
I request however the 2 plates standing still so long - I almost despair of the 2d No as a fate seems to attend it.
Send by the bearer ''Flatford Mill'' - for a few days. it will help me in my sketch of Salisbury
Yours truly
J.C. -
