Jan 1831'.\n\nTRANSCRIPT:\n\n---\nTo Mr Lucas\n[t\/n: word deleted] favd by Mr. Leslie\nDear Lucas\n             I am rather disappointed at not seeing you this Even [t\/n: Evening] but never mind.\nCan you come tomorrow Evng - and if so early & bring with you the - impression of the Ipswich River that one which you first took off while I was with you - it is quite good enough to do what I want to it & that it is so much that you will be quite pleased with it - pray bring the oil sketch of the same subject at the same time.
