      <type>content description</type>
      <value>A single volume that includes

(1) a copy of "Cary's Traveller's Companion, or a Delineation of the Turnpike Roads of England and Wales" (London: John Cary, 1791);

and (2) a journal kept by the landscape architect Humphrey Repton (1752-1818) during his travels in 1801, 1804, 1807, 1809 and 1813. The journal primarily lists places visited with little narrative commentary, though he does record meeting the Wordsworths in 1801 and 1818.

There are also two pockets at the boards, in which are placed 2 memos and a fold-out map of Yorkshire.</value>
