TRANSCRIPT: --- pray bring an India of the Eveng [t/n: '&' deleted] if ready and a Summerland For Mr Lucas I am sanguine with the ''morning'' Dear Lucas. I hastened home this afternoon to meet you & it sadly puts me out of the eveng when you can not come - it will be better in future not to name the time - now that I go to & from Hampd [t/n: Hampstead]. I hope you can come to me at 4 o clock tomorrow not any later. & I must go to Academy at between 5 .& 6. - I hope you gradually get on in health - Yours truly J.
