A pencil inscription on the top reads \u2018Aug 31 - 1831'.\n\nTRANSCRIPT:\n\n---\nFor \nMr Lucas\n\nDear Lucas\n          I shall be at home all this afternoon - if you can come I shall  be glad to see you with ['at'?] print or rather a compleat imprission of the ''Mill Stream''.
