TRANSCRIPT: --- For Mr Lucas - Well Walk 20 Nov1832 Dear Lucas . I send you a draft of six pounds I send also - a list of such prints as want to be made up in brown - & with them one of the Color or tone wanted - also a few of another sett to be made up - do not mix them - [t/n: word deleted] till you - proceed with the one of the Stone Henge - and the new Old Sarum - I should like the engraved part to be 6 inches by 10 - do - I shall repeat it the engraved part to be ''6. by 10 Inches'' -. Pray bring me some sort of a proof of [t/n: 'the' deleted] my Ruin that I may contemplate my fate - God help us both for no doubt our mutual Ruin is at hand - Some of the Colored prints are so weak & messed & bad the we have cast them out - & of those & the ones missing I enclose a list.
