Dear Lucas
Let me have your new direction* as soon as possible - I am very unfortunate in having just got all my proofs ready - as your own confusion commences - I dare say You cannot be able to work for weeks - nay more- but my usual curse strikes to me in all things that belong to myself -
I have got a subscriber to the Lapland scenery - if Mr Price** like our [?] - I shall
                                                     see you.
P.S.
Perhaps we shall never see much more of each other You You are going in the Chelsea Bogs - they are sadly unwholesome - but you will say or atleast we may both say - happy - very happy - would it have been for both of us - had we never met - in all our lives - at least so we both agreed on monday.
                                                                                                                                             J.C.
