A pencil inscription on the top reads \u2018Constable-Lucas 18'.\n\nTRANSCRIPT:\n\n---\n[t\/n: letterhead of 'Printsellers & Publishers, Henry Graves & co., 6 Pall Mall, London]\n\n                                                                                                                 May 23rd 1885\nDear Sir\n            I have been through all the letters and have dated all those that I have been able to fixed a date =\nIn the Wrapper ''No Date'' are a few that it is impossible to fix -\nThe [facets?] I have used in fixing the date are the plates mentioned, the ink & writing and the mention of the men Pitt & Holland\nthe addresses Fig me altogether for up to 1832.
