The letter is 1 leaf (bifold) and mounted in the volume. The leaf has been numbered 29 in the upper right-hand corner according to chronology and its order in the volume.  \n\nBront\u00eb writes that Miss Wooler's letter was one of many she found upon her return home from her honeymoon with Arthur Bell Nicholls. She says she has been extremely busy since the day of her wedding and marriage has impacted the 'disposition and consumption of time'. She says 'my time is not my own now; somebody else wants a good portion of it' and that they have also had a great number of callers. \n\nTo respond to the 'hearty welcome and general good-will' given to Nicholls upon his return to Haworth, they invite a party of 500 to 'tea and supper in the school-room'. She describes being 'touched' when one villager describes her husband as being 'a consistent Christian and a kind gentleman' and writes that she feels such an achievement is greater than earning 'Wealth or Fame or Power'; she is sure Mis Wooler will agree. She agrees with the villager's words and writes that if she still agrees in seven years' time or even in a year's time, she will consider herself to be 'a happy woman'. \n\nBront\u00eb says that Patrick Bront\u00eb was not well upon their return but is better now. She says is more anxious for his health now than before she was married and hopes he will be with them for a long time. She is pleased that her father and Nicholls continue to have an 'excellent' 'understanding' and that Nicholls is able to provide her father with 'good aid in his old age'. She asks Miss Wooler whether she is in Richmond alone and fears that she will be at Richmond a long time. The letter is signed C.B.
