<value>This letter is written from Paris, France. In this letter, Browing Sr writes that he accompanied Monsieur Louis to the infirmary. Louis was very glad that Sarianna ‘kindly enquired’ after him and he is much better. Browning Sr praises the infirmary and says if Arabel ever visits, she must see it. He discusses books including those written by Henry Fielding and Thackeray. He says he walked to Parc Monceau where he ‘carried a book ... [to] read it under a most delightful shade’. He sends his love to Pen and RB.

This letter has been numbered 'SD2581' in the Supporting Documents of the Browning Correspondence Project. It has not been transcribed online.</value>
