In this letter, Barrett Browning says she is sending a book for Mr. Tennyson and hopes Haworth will reciprocate by sending ‘another supply of the homeopathic’ which have done Robert Browning much good. She asks asks Howarth how she is finding her new home and whether she has found any friends. Mr Mignaty has visited the Brownings and praised Haworth’s pictures. Isa Blagden also admired them the previous night. Blagden and Annette Bracken will not go to Naples. Barrett Browning says she is in ‘low spirits’ due to Lord Palmerston’s resignation and the defeat of the Conspiracy to Murder bill. She also says that everyone admires Haworth’s sketch of Pen but particularly herself and Robert Browning. She also says she misses Haworth’s ‘coming & going’.
