<value>This is a letter written from Florence, Italy. In this short letter, Barrett Browning says they are afraid for to visit Blagden due to Barrett Browning's health and asks Blagden to visit them instead before Madame Ossoli leaves Italy. She says Blagden will see Robert Browning very soon and that he is ‘full of pictures’ which have been praised by Seymour Kirkup.

This letter has been transcribed in 'The Brownings' Correspondence', vol. 16, p. 120 (Kansas: Wedgestone Press, 2007). It is transcribed online via The Brownings' Correspondence project, numbered 2851. Dating taken from the Brownings' Correspondence project: Conjectured date based on EBB’s references to RB’s newly-acquired paintings and Mme. Ossoli, both of which subjects are mentioned in the following letter.</value>
