She says Blagden has done ‘unmercifully ill’ for herself and also that she does not need to worry about the furniture. She asks her to come on Sunday. In her postscript, she says, referring to some writing of Robert Browning's on the paper: ‘See what Robert has been writing! renouncing somebody.’ (From The Brownings' Correspondence project: 'The opening words of a letter that Robert Browning began, along with Barrett Browning’s comment, are written on the page with Blagden’s address. It is difficult to determine what Browning wrote because it has been fairly obliterated by Barrett Browning.
