This is a fragment of a letter written by both Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Robert Browning. The Armstrong Browning Library holds the Robert Browning portion, which is scanned and available online. Robert Browning has informed Blagden in his portion about the house but Barrett Browning must write a few lines to Blagden as well. Barrett Browning wants Blagden to come but Robert Browning has said she may not like to and doesn\u2019t want to drag Blagden into anything she would not like. Barrett Browning describes the rooms which are too small so her plan to have Blagden with them might not be possible. She is sorry for Robert Browning. She discusses the weather. Robert Browning is writing good poems for Miss Power. She discusses the journey with Bessie Herbert, speaks of vacant houses and hotels and says table was set by Mrs Stisted by the time they arrived. Pen likes it. Robert Browning has enquired about horses.
