Mrs Jameson will go to Lucca and then onto Florence. Regarding Lytton, Barrett Browning says \u2018Oh Isa\u2013 I delay speaking of Lytton because it grieves me to think even, much less speak on that subject. That one so noble, so good,\u2014with such high spiritual impulses, should allow his light to be blown upon, agitated, (not put out) by certain breaths .. it does grieve me\u2014& less for his happiness now, than his usefulness & greatness hereafter. It grieves me\u2014but I am not surprised\u2013 You know what I thought. \u201cManon\u201d holds her own\u2013 His very anger was love\u2013 He never ceased to love her\u2014not for a moment\u2013 \/ Observe! under the circumstances, a really good woman (even if she had felt herself maligned) would have taken no step to get him back\u2013 It is conclusive to me. Give my love to dear Lytton\u2019. She asks whether the Storys have been or are in Florence.
